Ability NI is the only full colour magazine published in Northern Ireland specifically for people with disabilities. Produced in association with Disability Action this quarterly magazine has, since its launch in 2006, been an outstanding success. Such was the need for a quality and informative publication for this large and important section of our community- there are one in five people with various disabilities within Northern Ireland.

For many people with a disability it is not an easy task to visit the attractions, events, hotels, locations etc that many able bodied take for granted or to access details on the many helpful aids and organisations which are available to help with everyday living. We at Ability NI aim to provide this information through our regular features which include general news, community news, sports news, what’s on, restaurant reviews, school’s corner, motoring, travel and our helping hand directory.

Ability NI is available through newsagents, distributed to Disability Action members and on subscription direct to the reader’s home and is also produced in alternative formats including Audio CD and in Braille.
